An Orlando man missing since Saturday night at Club Space in downtown Miami and who posted a Snapchat video asking for help was found Tuesday morning by Miami Shores police.
According to Miami police, Shores officers found Jeremiah Chavez around 9:20 a.m. after checking out a call at 9401 Biscayne Blvd., the Roman Cathlolic Archdiocese of Miami.
Archdiocese spokesperson Mary Ross Agosta said after Chavez approached an Archdiocese employee showing up for work, the woman called police to get Chavez the help she could tell he needed. When police arrived, they found Chavez behind a 5-foot wall. They took him into custody and gave him medical attention.
Chavez turns 28 on Tuesday.
Chavez’s family said he got separated from his friends Saturday night into Sunday morning at Club Space, 34 NE 11th St. in downtown Miami.
He called his sister Sunday with a plea for help because he was being chased. He also posted a Snapchat video.
Chavez’s sister took to social media to help the search for her brother.
